AI Usage and Creative Work Protection Policy

Effective Date: April 1, 2026
Updated Date: July 15, 2026

E-Partners Marketing is a human-led creative and technology company founded by Erica Johnson-Maquilon and also operating under the names E-Partners Studio and The ContentCure.co.

Although we recognize the value of artificial intelligence when it is used responsibly, AI is not a replacement for professional creative direction, strategic expertise, or the human design process.

This policy explains how our original work mayβ€”and may notβ€”be used with artificial intelligence tools.

Our Work Is Human-Created

Unless otherwise expressly disclosed, the custom brand identities, websites, graphics, layouts, presentations, marketing materials, written content, creative concepts, strategies, mockups, and other deliverables created by Erica Johnson-Maquilon are developed by a human designer using her professional experience, creative judgment, equipment, licensed software, paid resources, internet connection, and original thought process.

Our work is not produced by entering a client’s information into an AI generator and delivering the result.

Every custom project reflects research, strategy, design decisions, technical knowledge, and years of professional experience. Artificial intelligence cannot independently understand the complete strategy, client conversations, project objectives, creative rationale, or professional judgment behind those decisions.

AI Critiques and Alterations Are Prohibited

Clients, prospective clients, collaborators, contractors, vendors, website visitors, and other third parties may not upload, submit, transmit, reproduce, disclose, or otherwise provide our work to an artificial intelligence system without the prior written consent of Erica Johnson-Maquilon.

This prohibition applies to platforms and features including, but not limited to:

  • ChatGPT

  • Claude

  • Gemini

  • DeepSeek

  • Microsoft Copilot

  • Midjourney

  • DALL-E

  • Adobe Firefly

  • Canva AI

  • Automated website, logo, copy, branding, or design-analysis tools

  • Any other generative AI, machine-learning, or automated content-analysis platform

Our custom work may not be entered into an AI system for the purpose of:

  • Critiquing, reviewing, scoring, evaluating, or comparing the work;

  • Generating design feedback, revision requests, or recommendations;

  • Altering, editing, rewriting, redesigning, or β€œimproving” the work;

  • Creating alternate versions, variations, or derivative works;

  • Reproducing or rebuilding the work through another platform;

  • Extracting prompts, styles, layouts, concepts, language, or design elements;

  • Replicating or imitating Erica Johnson-Maquilon’s creative style;

  • Training, testing, fine-tuning, or contributing to an AI model or dataset;

  • Generating instructions for another designer, developer, contractor, or AI system; or

  • Distributing the work to any third party for AI-assisted analysis or modification.

This restriction applies to preliminary concepts, drafts, mockups, screenshots, proofs, proposals, presentations, source files, completed deliverables, rejected concepts, and published work.

AI-Generated Feedback Is Not Professional Creative Direction

Submitting a custom design to an AI system for critique does not create informed or professionally qualified feedback.

An AI tool does not participate in the discovery process, attend strategy meetings, understand the full business context, review the complete creative brief, or know why specific design and messaging decisions were made. AI systems are also designed to continue generating suggestions when prompted, even when additional changes are unnecessary, inconsistent with the strategy, or harmful to the overall project.

Feedback, revisions, and creative decisions regarding our work must follow the review process established by E-Partners Marketing.

AI-generated critiques, recommendations, mockups, rewritten copy, code, or design variations will not be accepted as professional creative direction and do not obligate E-Partners Marketing to alter its work.

Intellectual Property Ownership

All preliminary designs, concepts, drafts, presentations, layouts, creative strategies, working files, source files, design systems, written materials, and other original works created by Erica Johnson-Maquilon remain her intellectual property unless specific ownership rights are expressly transferred through a separate written agreement signed by Erica Johnson-Maquilon.

Payment for a project does not automatically transfer:

  • Copyright ownership;

  • Authorship;

  • Source or working files;

  • Rejected or unused concepts;

  • Creative methods or processes;

  • Design systems;

  • The right to create derivative works; or

  • The right to submit the work to artificial intelligence systems.

Clients receive only the usage rights specifically granted in their signed agreement.

Publicly displaying or delivering a design does not place that design in the public domain and does not authorize its reproduction, alteration, distribution, resale, imitation, or use with artificial intelligence.

No Authorization for AI Training or Data Collection

Erica Johnson-Maquilon and E-Partners Marketing do not grant permission for its website, portfolio, written content, images, designs, case studies, client work, brand assets, or other materials to be scraped, copied, collected, indexed, stored, reproduced, or used to train, test, develop, or improve artificial intelligence or machine-learning systems.

No license is granted for automated data mining, dataset creation, model training, style imitation, or generative content production.

The availability of content on this website does not constitute consent for AI training, scraping, reproduction, or commercial use.

Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for ensuring that anyone given access to our work follows this policy, including their:

  • Employees;

  • Business partners;

  • Contractors;

  • Virtual assistants;

  • Consultants;

  • Marketing teams;

  • Developers;

  • Friends or family members, and

  • Other collaborators or decision-makers.

A client may not avoid responsibility by asking another person or company to submit, critique, modify, or reproduce the work through an AI tool on the client’s behalf.

Unauthorized Distribution and Use

Submitting our work to an AI system may create, retain, process, or distribute unauthorized copies of confidential, unpublished, or copyrighted materials.

Unauthorized AI submission, reproduction, distribution, adaptation, alteration, reverse engineering, or creation of derivative works may violate this policy, the applicable client agreement, confidentiality obligations, licensing restrictions, and intellectual property rights.

When unauthorized use is discovered, E-Partners Marketing may take appropriate action, including:

  • Suspending or terminating an active project;

  • Refusing AI-generated revision requests;

  • Revoking previously granted usage rights where permitted by the applicable agreement;

  • Requiring the removal or destruction of unauthorized materials;

  • Issuing a cease-and-desist notice;

  • Seeking compensation for damages, losses, remediation expenses, or unauthorized usage; and

  • Pursuing available contractual or legal remedies.

E-Partners Marketing and Erica Johnson-Maquilon expressly reserve all rights and remedies concerning the unauthorized copying, disclosure, distribution, modification, or commercial exploitation of their work.

Permission Must Be Obtained in Writing

Any exception to this policy requires prior written authorization from Erica Johnson-Maquilon.

Permission must identify:

  1. The specific material being submitted;

  2. The AI platform or tool being used;

  3. The intended purpose;

  4. The individuals or organizations receiving access; and

  5. The permitted scope of use.

Verbal discussions, file delivery, project payment, access to a client portal, publication in a portfolio, or the absence of an immediate objection do not constitute permission.

Responsible AI Use at E-Partners Marketing

This policy is not a rejection of artificial intelligence.

E-Partners Marketing develops AI-powered business solutions, automations, applications, and strategic systems. We believe AI can be valuable when it is introduced intentionally, transparently, and with appropriate protections.

The issue is not whether AI exists. The issue is whether someone has permission to use another person’s original work within an AI system.

We support responsible AI use that respects human expertise, confidentiality, intellectual-property ownership, creative boundaries, and the agreed-upon client process.

Policy Acceptance

By accessing, receiving, downloading, reviewing, or using materials created by Erica Johnson-Maquilon, E-Partners Marketing, E-Partners Studio, or The Contentcure.co, you acknowledge this policy and agree not to submit those materials to an artificial intelligence system without prior written authorization.

This policy supplements, but does not replace, the terms of any proposal, service agreement, licensing agreement, website terms, confidentiality agreement, or other written contract.

If a signed agreement contains stricter restrictions, the signed agreement will control.
